A First Demo
Project Ematea is some kind of experiment. Auroratide, the author, calls it a “digital story”, but it’s pretty clear from these scatterbrained scribbles that he’s still trying to discover what that means.
Either that, or I just haven’t been able to piece together the clues yet.
I’m not leaving empty-handed. I found a secret, a hidden alley not normally accessible from any Ematean street. Auroratide calls it a “demo”. A simple proof of concept, what a “digital story” could look like…
A hidden alley in the city
Curious, too? I like you. Quietly, follow me…
Notice what I notice?
- Feels like… some kind of point-and-click adventure.
- Dynamic lighting… on a website? Never seen that before.
- Heh, one of my own Posters. Interesting zoom mechanic, by the way.
Very abnormal for “websites”. Clearly Auroratide is trying to stand out.
What’s next?
Too many notes to sift through… I can’t make heads or tails of it all, and I hear footsteps down the hall. All I can say is, I see “Vercon” mentioned very often.
Vercon… how nostalgic.
When I learn more, I will post here on Metamatea. Until then, stay safe readers.
Candesse, out.
